Two brothers shared a huge bedroom. No amount of furniture would be able to fill the room to make it feel finished without cluttering it and removing free space for open play.
The thing was that while the older brother loved dinosaurs, the youngest loved cars. The mom didn’t want to have a mural for each, visually splitting the bedroom, but wanted the mural to act as a unifying item between brothers.
Keeping the modern approach and clean lines for an elevated and timeless result, I created a geometric background that left space for imagination. I placed a nice dinosaur (to avoid nightmares) having a snack in a corner and on the opposite wall, a big truck was painted. During the installation the boys would come to have a peek and the youngest started creating stories about how the dinosaur was chasing the car and vice-versa. I knew I had nailed it.
